Registration and Dorm Reservations

Registration for the conference continues! We are expecting a great crowd of babywearers, vendors, as well as some health professionals. Several classes have been approved for CERPs by IBCLE! Those hoping for IBCLE credits should register for the conference as usual and make a note that they plan to take CERP classes in the “what days?” field. Those classes are an additional $10 per class to cover the fees and paperwork involved. That can be paid at the conference or may be paid in advance via paypal to bwidcmdva @ gmail.com. We are still waiting to hear from DONA about continuing education credits for doulas, but we are hopeful to hear soon

Rooms are available on campus in the dorms for those who want to save on accommodations. We will only guarantee dorm space through May 1st. We will probably keep a couple of extra rooms, but those will be first come first served. If you want to be sure of on-campus housing, reserve your room before May 1st.

Dorm rooms are single sex (for adults). If your family wants to attend, please consider finding another family and have moms bunk together and dads bunk together. For single adults attending with children, you may choose the double room rate for 2 beds, but use it as a single. You are responsible for providing baby sleeping arrangements (ie pack n play, etc).

Rooms do not come with linens or pillows. The linen rate is per bed. Pillows will be purchased new for you if you select the pillow option. You may bring your own linens and pillows to avoid those charges (or wraps make excellent pillows or blankets).

To reserve your room, please fill out the form below. You will be directed to pay by Paypal after completing the form.

The International Babywearing Conference of 2012 offers a chance for educators and parents to share knowledge about the modern and ancient practice of babywearing. There will be educational classes, informational exhibits, and plenty of time to mix and mingle with fellow babywearers over this four-day event.
