About the Conference

The International Babywearing Conference of 2012 offers a chance for educators and parents to share knowledge about the modern and ancient practice of babywearing. There will be educational classes, informational exhibits, and plenty of time to mix and mingle with fellow babywearers over this four-day event.

The conference will be held at Catholic University in Washington, DC, June 29-July 2, 2012. Registration opens Monday, January 30, 2012. Registration costs $100 per person, and $25 to add a spouse/partner. We are still accepting Vendors for our Green Family Expo, and sponsors for a variety of events. Contact us to learn more!

About the Organizers: BWI of DC-MD-VA

We are a chapter of Babywearing International serving the DC, Maryland, and Virginia Metro Area. At this time, we have three to four monthly meetings around Northern Virginia, one in Silver Spring and two in Baltimore.   All are more than welcome to our current meetings as we work to grow and meet the needs of our members in DC.
